- Troop 608 serves central Prince William County especially schools in the vicinity of Hoadly Road. Cub Scouts who have completed the Arrow of Light badge, or boys who have completed 5th grade or boys who are at least 11 years of age; but not older than 18 may join.

- We camp monthly and have a continuous calendar of activities. Troop 608 attends a different summer camp each summer.
- Summer Camp is our premier event. Each summer we visit a scout camp that we have not been to in the previous few years. We take advantage of the High Adventure programs offered at these scout reservations and at Philmont and Sea Base.
- Troop 608 Scouts give back to the community through Eagle Scout Service Projects, Scouting for Food and other charitable and service projects.
